The Stork

While the Kornowicz Family Reunion was taking place Katie & Bret were at Bret's Family Reunion. At their reunion they have a tradition of each family doing a skit on Saturday night. Bret's mom rented a Stork costume which was worn by his sister Michelle...and this is how they announced their pregnancy to Bret's family. Very cool.

Father's Day on the Farm

We spent last weekend in Atlantic Iowa with the Euken's. Leanne, Ryan, Aimee, Bret & Katie were there as was Bret's sister Michelle. We missed Tim & Danielle. We all stayed at the Euken Farm which was awesome. Lot's of laughing and talking. Chris went out to do chores in the morning...but forgot his chore clothes. The boys went to a College World series baseball game and the girls went to the Antique walk in Walnut Iowa. Then we all met up for dinner in Omaha, NE.

The End of the school year!!!

Another school year has come to an end and each year the families try to show their appreciation for the hard work that we have done. This is the best. An Undershirt, a mug with a snowman on it, a snowman ornament and the Pillsbury Dough boy...best of all it was packaged in a Christmas bag. ( See Picture) Most of these families do not celebrate Christmas.
Also the parents are proud of their childrens accomplishments. Look at the cute suits worn by the boys, one is even wearing a vest. I love the children and families that I have a priviledge working with each day. Good Luck in Kindergarten!!!

The AM Bunch

These are the children that I have the privilidge of being with each morning that I work. They are all wonderful in their own way...Some like to talk to you or anyone who will listen, some like to laugh, they all love to play and learn. It is exciting for me as a teacher to watch them grow and learn.

My Afternoon Class

Her is a picture of the kids that steal my heart each week. They are all unique in their own way. The little boy in the bottom row with the glasses has a major crush on me. He always hugs me when he comes to school and tells me how he missed me while not at school. While patting my arm he told me I was beautiful and cute. Good thing Chris is not a jealous man.

Autism Awareness

April is Autism awareness month. Leanne invited us to a walk for Autism Awareness. The weather did not cooperate so we had to walk inside with a quick lap outside dodging the raindrops. It was great fun to walk and talk for a good cause.

Happy Dyngus Day!!!

Happy Dyngus Day to the Poturalski Family!!! As Sandy wrote this morning it was dad's favorite holiday. Check out the Dyngus Day website...Buffalo has the largest Dyngus Day celebration in the nation...who knew. Remember going to movies on Dyngus Day with mom? It might have been the only time each year that we saw a movie? Remember when mom backed into the pole on Dyngus Day and told dad that someone hit the car? It was a perfect indentation of a pole?. Memories

Wedding Shower Fun

Our Friends hosted a Wedding Shower for Leanne & Ryan this past weekend. The theme was Minnesota Twins since both Leanne & Ryan love the Minnesota Twins. There were pickup trucks and grills just like a real tailgate party. Leanne & Ryan even got to open their gifts while sitting on the tailgate of dad's truck. It was a great fun and many of our friends were able to join us. Ryan's family was also able to attend. All the grandparents were also at the shower and that meant alot to Leanne & Ryan.
On Monday we went to a local park and had a picnic lunch with the grandparents. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed being outside.

Leanne & Ryan
May 18th, 2009~ Engagement

Leanne and Ryan are the nicest couple in the world. I had so much fun photographing their engagement session last night in Crosslake. They are the kind of couple you can TELL just LOVE. EACH. OTHER. They enjoy each others company & make each other laugh. True Love. They were real troopers and traveled all the way to the Lakes Area from Alexandria and Moorhead. I am super excited to be photographing their August wedding in Edina. Leanne and Ryan, thank you for being SO fun. I know it’s a successful session when I laugh the whole time. You two are perfect together and I am SO eager for your wedding…
