Happy Halloween

Hi Everyone, Happy Halloween to all. Tonight is beggars night right? Remember when we were all kids and all the candy we would come home with. Wow brings back lots of memories.

Got a e-mail from Aaron yesterday thanking me for the box that I sent. It only took 6 days to get there. He sounds like he is doing as well as can be expected. Keep the letters and boxes coming to Aaron. It helps him feel more loved while he is in Irag defending our Freedom.

It is beginning to feel like Fall in Minnesota. I think we will have to turn the heat on this weekend. Hoping to get the grass cut one last time today.
Chris and I are going to Buffalo the weekend of November 17th. Hope that we will get to see everyone.

New School Year

Hi All, Hope that everyone had a great start to the school year. I am sure that all the kids are excited to be back at school and ready to settle in and do homework ( HA!HA)
Word has it that Aaron has headed back to Iraq - as mom says Aaron is going across - across what?? the street, the ocean etc. Let's make sure to keep him in our prayers and as soon as we get a address we can begin to send letters and packages. If anyone needs ideas on what to send let me know and I will send you the list that someone gave me. Thanks Aaron for defending our freedom. God Bless our troops and the USA. Love you guys, FRAN

Wedding

Katie and Bret are married...It was a wonderful wedding and a heartfelt Thanks to all of our Family who traveled to Minnesota to be here with us. They are back from their Honeymoon in and drove back to Muscatine Iowa yesterday. It was so fun to see everyone and spend time with you. life at the White House

Hi All, Just wanted to let you know that Leanne Graduated from College 2 weeks ago. It was fun to be there and a great accomplishment for her. Magna Cum Laude - we are proud of her. WE have the 1st shower for Katie tomorrow in Ames. The girls will travel down in the morning and attend the shower. Chris is staying home to GOLF. Have been busy preparing for Aimee's graduation...June 6th graduation and June 8th Open House. I am glad that mom is coming to help with all the party stuff. That catering experience comes in handy for something. Then it will be full swing into wedding preparations. Looking forward to seeing everyone in July.

Go Sabres...speaking of Sabres - Leanne has a boyfriend whose name is Ryan Miller.

Concordia Basketball

Hi All, Just thought you would like to know that Leanne's team lost yesterday in the tournament semi-final game. Leanne had 6 points and a game high 14 rebounds. Life In Minnesota

We are also going to all of Leanne's basketball games this year which means that we often spend 7 hours driving on a weeknight to watch her play.
